I plugged it in and is working well so far. I could not find the previous call blocker to return to you and am so sorry about that.
Regards Stuart Hardy
Setting up easy. First block made. I am impressed so far. Good explanation on the phone call when I renewed.
I have had CPR before and have always been pleased with them and the calls they block. I have now upgraded to the next level, and I know I will get the same service and blocking expertise.
Quite happy thank you, although I did have to phone up to get despatch sheet to send the old one back.
This item dose evrey thing on the tin, i did have the v500, it worked well with no prop, ive now upgraid to the v100k,...highly recomended
WE HAVE CPR 10000 & WE WERE NOT SEEING THE SCREEN LIGHT UP. BEFORE I MESSED EVERYTHING UP, I DECIDED TO CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM. I WAS FORTUNATE TO GET A WONDERFUL REPRESENTATIVE KATRINA. SHE WALKED ME (A NON MECHANIC NURSE) THOUGH SETTING IT UP & IT WORKS PERFECTLY. SHE WAS KIND, EFFICIENT & UNDERSTOOD MY CHALLENGE. THANK YOU KATRINA, YOU MADE OUR/MY DAY. JACKIE (I CALLED)& BOB TROPP
I have had 2 previous models before this new 100,000 model. Operating for two weeks now, and I am constantly checking my landline to make sure it is working. Not one call has come through. I also note that this model is the easiest to set up.
I have had the V5000 for a couple of years. It was full of blocked numbers so I decided to upgrade to the V100K. Its the same unit except it has more pre programmed Spam numbers and it can store more numbers that you block.
I see some calls display on the TV when the TV is on, but if the number is blocked, it does not ring the phone. My land line is via our cable company. Install was easy with no issues.
I already had the v5000 model and it did very well for me. But I believe it reached its maximum number of manual blocked calls and so I could not longer enter any using the **7# method. So I decided to upgrade to the v10000 version and I know I'll be just as happy with this model.
We use Spectrum internet for our "landline" phone service. When first set up, we used the written instructions provided with the call blocker. There were 3 different options for connecting to our phone line. None of these worked with our phone line. After a few days of frustrating calls not being blocked, we connected the call blocker to our phone using a method not outlined in the instructions, but it worked for us! The call blocker comes with a black line connection and a white one with a red end clip. We plugged our phone line from our phone into the FIRST Line Input jack on the back of the call blocker. We plugged the cable with the red end into TEL1 input on the call blocker. The other end of this second cable was plugged into the back of our telephone. Now, when we get a call, the number comes up on the call blocker screen, and we just press the large red "BLOCK NOW" button to block the call. The total number of blocked calls entered will appear on the call blocker screen. When we took this photo shown, we had blocked nine phone numbers. We will keep this call blocker and enjoy our peace and quiet!!
Very pleased in blocking nuisance calls, roughly 2/day. Apparently scammers uses countless/revolving tel numbers bz many originate from same town. This makes eliminating these calls a bit time consuming, but anticipate all/most will soon end. Can't determine durability since only a few months in use. A very good, practical purchase for a bit more peace/tranquility throughout the day.
It's so quiet and peaceful around our home. It's been years and years since we have had a quiet phone. The lack of intrusion is amazing and feels so good to have a quiet home. I have the v100K which has a blocked database of 100,000 already blocked numbers. I can block 10000 more. But I have yet to have to block one as nothing comes through. Here's hoping this will last. I'm surprised the phone companies don't allow an opt in for a service like this. Clearly the technology is there. If this little black box can do it so can the big dogs. I gotta think. Anyway I love this. It's worth every penny. Get the V100K. I'm thinking you'll be glad you did. I am.
If this gadget came with hundreds ofBlocked numbers, the multitude of daily bogus calls continue to come in series, of three times a day. This product is not a call filter, but it does store the calls that are blocked by me, when bogus calls come in.
Finally learned to unblock wrong blocked phones.##6#unblock ph no#Help chat left last # out, reread manual on Amazon!! After 3 years!!
Used this for a while now to block unwanted calls on my LAN line and couldn't be happier.
