The V100K I thought was too good to be true. The fact that it commands a price three times higher then others. I was really reluctant to buy it.

I work from home and for years and recently months just bombarded by calls all day and even nights and weekends. Facts your phone company wont help. None I ever have had does. I also record videos and who loves hearing the phone ring why recording.

LOOK: I tried all the ideas, don't answer, turn off answering machine, tell them not to call you. Even tried a recording that made it sound like my phone was disconnected nothing worked.

So I have a fiber optic phone line, with a modem and thought this wont work.

Plug it in, simple easy direction. Next day no calls, 4 days nothing. One on the 5th day and I blocked it.

But it comes preprogrammed and also filters for international calls and suspicious ones.

My phone has a base unit and I plugged it in and tested calling to make sure it didn't just block everything.

But it works well. The reviews by others can be confusing, I think it has allot to do with how your phone company is setup on whether this works for you. I have a very picky phone system and it worked on mine.

My opinion, do not call lists you register are useless. They give the list to legit company on who they can not call.

However illegal scammers do not care, and by registering you now are part of a list that knows you are a live person and then use these lists for what they are not intended.

This unit is small and no issues at all

PROS: Easy simple setup No Batteries Comes phone cords that are color coded. Directions are simple and easy Large screen I can read with out glasses. Seniors will love it huge block button.

Cons: The unit is preprogrammed with 100,000 filter numbers. There is no way to see these numbers or edit them. There is no information on if it updates firmware. ( however you can manually add by the button)

Final thoughts: Buy it, yes it is more then many others. But it works. Nothing is perfect, but so far I am very happy with the system. I wish there was more ways to edit blocking features. But it is built for simplicity, and that it does well. I am a huge tech junky and was really not thinking it would work. It did for me right outta the box. Remember phone systems vary and nothing can work on everything. I do hope it works for you and gives you some peace like it did me.

The 2nd CPR blocker I've had. The 1st one became full after many years of blocking! I wouldn't be without one of these and I get a perverse pleasure out of seeing a blocked number showing on my phone, that can't get through!! A "must" in these days of scammers.

This is a brilliant little device. Really easy to fit, easy instruction leaflet comes with it, and it's worth it's weight in gold if you're having lots of spam phone calls. I've blocked 11 numbers since fitting it and now I'm not getting any spam calls. (I was getting about 4 a day) What's also brilliant and useful to mention is that my landline isn't one that shows the number that's calling but I do have caller ID in my phone package (which is what you need to make it work) so now I can see the number that calls, if I don't know the number I answer it and if it's a spam call I just press the block button and cut them off and then they can't ring again. I love it! (I even said "you're about to be terminated!" being a fan of the terminator movies! lol I highly recommend this product.

Update: I've now blocked 24 numbers, I have a "live" not robot caller spammer calling every day from different phone numbers, today I blocked him 13 times! It's very satisfying to block him but I'm astounded he keeps phoning when I am clearly not going to enter into conversation with him or buy anything. I looked it up online and apparently when the same person uses different numbers its called ID spoofing. Hopefully he'll run out of numbers soon lol. Great little device, very pleased with it.

We bought this five years ago. Has an instruction booklet but it's dead easy to install and use. Comes with a good many spam numbers already installed but whenever you receive a new spam number you just hit 'Block Now' and that's it. No more calls from that number. As spammers are always coming up with new numbers you will still get some spam calls but it definitely cuts down the number of them. If you block a number by mistake you can easily unblock it. You also have various options: you can block all withheld numbers (but may not a good idea as hospitals/surgeries often withhold their number) or can block international numbers. Would recommend.
